Street Light Outage Report

See a street light that is out, flickering, or not working properly?

Please use this form to report the location so the Town of Sutton can identify the light and forward the issue for repair

How to Identify the Street Light

Please provide as much information as possible so we can locate the correct pole.

Look for one or more of the following:

  • Pole number or identification tag — usually found on the utility pole on a small metal plate, sticker, or tag.

  • Nearest street address — such as the house, business, or building closest to the light.

  • Street name and nearest intersection — for example, “Main Street near 2nd Street.”

  • Nearby landmark — such as a church, business, park, bridge, or other recognizable location.

  • Photo of the pole or streetlight — if possible, include a photo showing the pole with number tags and surrounding area.

Please do not enter the roadway or climb a utility pole to locate a pole number. Only provide information that can be safely observed from the ground.

Contact information is optional but may help us if additional location details are needed.

If you can safely see a number or tag on the pole, enter it here.

What is wrong with the light?

A photo of the pole, light, or surrounding location can help us identify the correct street light.

Important: If a utility pole or electrical line is down, sparking, on fire, or creating an immediate danger, do not approach it. Call 911 and the appropriate utility provider immediately.
